proPIC - Final Conference 2020
Our Final Conference will take place on 25-26 June 2020 on the Insel Reichenau, a beautiful island in the Lake of Constance, Germany. The consortium invites students, in-service teachers, practitioners and researchers from across Europe, working in the field of (language) teacher education to take part in the conference. The event will be organised by the project consortium, starting at about 10:00 am on Thursday and ending by 04:00 pm on Friday. The project can pay a small subsidy of 100€ to the first 30 delegates who register.
During the event, the partners will present the main project output - an innovative course framework - and the research findings of their project, further offering hands-on sessions in which the participants can try out the developed course materials. Moreover, the partners have invited a couple of students who have been taking part in the project, to present their innovative research projects and to speak about their experiences in the project. The conference will focus on its three main elements of the project in the context of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), which are transnational collaboration, research-orientation and the use of mobile technologies in (language teacher) education. Further, Steve Mann (University of Warwick) will deliver a presentation on Reflective Practices in Language Teacher Education and Michael Pallesche (Ernst-Reuter-Schule Karlsruhe) will give a talk about his approach to innovate teaching and learning.
