Intellectual Output 7 - Best-practice examples and project findings
Beginning with IO1, the development of a theoretical framework for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), all through to IO6, the ePortfolio, the project partners have developed a sound and innovative study programme which can also be implemented in existing programmes at other Higher Education (HE) institutions. In order to show the impact of the project and its transferability potential, we have put together a set of best-practice examples and the most important project findings. In the section 'More', you will find additional course activities and collaboratively developed outputs. In contrast to the project proposal and as agreed with the German National Agency, we decided to present the best-practice examples on a separate webpage instead of putting them into an iBook.
This IO7 was led by the University of Education Karlsruhe. Looking at the range and diversity of outputs, this IO reflects the difficulty to develop a common set of assessment criteria. Ensuring the sustainability of the project, the findings have been disseminated in two ways: firstly, within the participating institutions; secondly, to other teacher training institutions. Thus, a variety of dissemination activities have been conducted to promote the theoretical framework of the project as well as the concrete practical findings of the study programme and its components (e.g. the interactive tutorials, assignments and materials produced as part of the CPD online handbook). In order to further exploit the project, the consortion decided to produce a proPIC podcast as one good-practice example of the project. The podcast will be developed at the end of the project and will be made available here.
In addition, the presentations of the final conference will be published in an edited volume, which will be published in 2021. All partners are furhter able to draw on the theoretical framework and the findings of the project in their respective publications and presentations. Some are already available here.
