On 25 June 2020 we hosted our last Multiplier Event, which took place online and invited about 20 teacher students and educators from Europe and beyond. To the online conference we were lucky to welcome Steve Mann from the University of Warwick (UK) and Michael Pallesche from the Ernst-Reuter-Schule (Karlsruhe, Germany) as keynote speakers.
In the video above, Steve Mann gives his keynote on "Video and Reflective Practice".
Further, eight international students who took part in the proPIC project presented their research projects which were interesting, diverse and very creative! The conference started with our partners introducing the different project outputs which can also be found on this webpage. We would like to thank all our participants, speakers and project partners for taking part in this event!
In this YouTube video Michael Pallesche gives a keynote on "Learning in the 21st century - practical examples from a post-digital school".

proPIC - Final Conference 2020
Our Final Conference will take place on 25-26 June 2020 on the Insel Reichenau, a beautiful island in the Lake of Constance, Germany. The consortium invites students, in-service teachers, practitioners and researchers from across Europe, working in the field of (language) teacher education to take part in the conference. The event will be organised by the project consortium, starting at about 10:00 am on Thursday and ending by 04:00 pm on Friday. This event is subsidised by the European Commission and the first 30 delegates who register will be able to claim a minimum of 200€ for travel and accommodation.
--->>> Please register until 15 March 2020 by sending an email to [email protected]. During the event, the partners will present the main project output - an innovative course framework - and the research findings of their project, further offering hands-on sessions in which the participants can try out the developed course materials. Moreover, the partners have invited a couple of students who have been taking part in the project, to present their innovative research projects and to speak about their experiences in the project. The conference will focus on its three main elements of the project in the context of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), which are transnational collaboration, research-orientation and the use of mobile technologies in (language teacher) education. Further, Steve Mann (University of Warwick) will deliver a presentation on Reflective Practices in Language Teacher Education and Michael Pallesche (Ernst-Reuter-Schule Karlsruhe) will give a talk about his approach to innovate teaching and learning. |
If you are interested in taking part in this event, please send an e-mail to Mareike Oesterle (Pädagogische Hochschule Karlsruhe, Germany). As we have already pre-booked some rooms in the guest house on the Insel Reichenau, please let us know if you would like to stay there.
