Led by the partners from Karlsruhe and Barcelona, the consortium developed an ePortfolio as one of the project outputs. Originally, the partners intended to produce several individual ePortfolios. However, during the first year, it became clear that a lot of dialogic reflection took place and was further more effective to foster transnational collaboration and mutual understanding among the partners. Thus and as agreed with the DAAD, the project partners decided to develop a joint ePortfolio, which you can find below. We have separated it into five different sections:
- Final Video Feedback on the proPIC Project
- 2020: Wrapping up the project
- 2019/2020: Evaluation and Finalisation
- 2018/2019: Development and Implementation
- 2017/2018: Preparation and Development
As this project aims at promoting CPD in Higher Education, we consider it crucial that the participating teacher educators also produce an ePortfolio and undergo the same processes as the prospective teachers. The following sections comprise multiumodal data in which the teacher educators reflected on their participation in the project. Looking at the data, the partners were able to identify seven major categories/themes that occur throughout the collected data:

2020: Wrapping Up The Project
During the last virtual partner meeting, taking place on 02 July 2020, the consortium reflected on this ePortfolio as a whole. For this, they formed three transnational groups, picked at least three pieces of evidence, which you can find below and produced collaborative reflections. With this activity, we intended to wrap up the project effectively.

Evaluation criteria
The development of the assessment criteria turned out to be the most challenging Intellectual Output of the project. Together, the partners discussed the various outputs and ePortfolios which were created by the students. Based on existing frameworks, the partners developed the "proPIC evaluation framework" for professional innovations

Developing professionally in the proPIC project
Developing professionally: trying out new formats
Due to the spread of the Corona Virus, the Multiplier Event could not take place on the Insel Reichenau as planned. Instead, the consortium hosted an online conference on 25 June 2020 using Zoom to connect all the participants. This gave the partners the opportunity to try out new formats and ways of how to promote transnational networking and disseminate their outputs and ideas online.
Collecting feedback after the conference using Google Forms: this feedback is on using break out rooms in-between to promote networking and informal conversations.
ePortfolios: the 'backbone' of the project

2018/2019: Development and Implementation
Study Week I
"Received very good feedback from the students."
"A highly enriching experience" "Quite different to ‘normal’ activities to my normal teaching life – great for local networking, interesting activities and student profiles" "It was a shame that the groups were not bigger and more international - we only had two partner institutions involved from Spain and Germany" |
ePortfolio: Having students of the first cohort develop their own ePortfolio
Developing professionally in the proPIC project: Trying out a variety of tools
In preparation of study week II, all the students and project partners were asked to introduce themselves using the platform flipgrid in March 2019. Not only fed the students back that they found this activity highly motivating, but it was also reported by the partners that they found it very enriching and interesting to try out these new tools in a "closed" setting.
Assessment and Feedback
Digital Output Criteria by G. Schwab (based on Burden's 2016 iPAC framework) on a student podcast:
Personalized: They know about creating and editing digital content. Sometimes it seems a little ad hoc but still in a quite appealing and personal way. Authentic: They have shown that they know how to identify needs and problems, maybe limited regarding conceptual knowledge. They try to keep up-to-date with the digital revolution though ethics and privacy topics are not dealt with or mentioned. They really try to be authentic. Collaborative: Hard to tell whether they “can articulate information and data needs, and locate and retrieve digital data, information and content.“ Certainly the product is a collaborative one. |

Feedback on Study Week II
To foster international exchange next to the regular project activities, many of the project parnters used the possibility to apply for an ERASMUS Staff Mobility and visit each other either for further Training or Teaching. In February 2019, R. Baldwin came to Karlsruhe and took part in seminars of the second cohort of proPIC students.

Project Management: Evaluating the kick-off meeting
The goal of the first meeting in November 2017 was to set off the project procedure. During the meeting any administrative and financial issues have been discussed, including the overall budget allocations, as well as reporting processes and the requirements of the EU. Moreover, the meeting included a number of social activities, as well as team-building activities.
I. Murillo Wilstermann commenting on the first meeting
"The communication is constant and fluid. Email is the basic and most effective mode of communication. However, the app Slack should be exploited better as we are still not used to using it with its full potential."

Project Management: Finding the right platform
"Hi, everyone! I agree with you, we should use only one channel. Moodle is think, for closed groups and I don't know if it's easy to create groups of students who previously have been added to one specific group. I don't know how slack works exaclty, but it seems more suitable in this way."

Project Management: 2nd Partner Meeting in Newcastle
"I must give my acknowledgements to the organization and the rest of the members that gave me the opportunity to present my PhD proposal and to have te possibility to receive super interesting feedback from all the members. Additionally, it was really helpful to see the presentations of the other PhDs related to the project."
