A core element of proPIC was transnational collaboration. For this reason, learning activities have been developed to underline this element and to foster intercultural learning of the participating prospective teachers authentically. Most of the learning activities of proPIC were intensive study abroad weeks (5 days), in which all students took part in if they participated in the study programme. These events enabled our participants to develop a wide range of skills and understandings in how the other European partners teach and learn a foreign and/or second language. It helped thempromote their competences and skills in how to use mobile technologies for their own CPD and served as a kind of 'trialling phase' for them to produce small creative outputs in transnational groups, before starting to work on their own individual product. Moreover these activities enabled the project partners to test, refine and evaluate all of the project outputs which were produced.
Our participants
The participants of the study weeks will be prospective foreign and second language teachers, students already enrolled in the participating universities (graduates and undergraduates), as well as teacher educators in the field of foreign and second language learning and teaching. The group of the teacher educators will be represented by the European partners of each organisation themselves. Being enrolled at one partner University the students will have to choose and apply for this course.

Study Week I (10-14. September 2018)
At the heart of the study programme is the study week, in which all participating prospective teachers will take part. During these study weeks they will visit local schools, get to know local teachers as well as the national/local school system of the place they visit, and further take part in social activities organised by our project partners. However and most importantly, they will get the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other international students, coming from the other partner institutions. Depending on the expertise of the project partner (e.g. Video Enhanced Observation, the creation of iBooks, Videoproduction, the use of various digital tools and methods), the students will try out different approaches to teaching, as well as to CPD, and in the end, will create innovative outputs in transnational teams. You can have a look at all the ePorfolios here.
